Secure File Eraser

 Can't find instructions for the Secure File Eraser feature. I click it on and then it's just on. How do I direct it to erase specific files? Can I use this feature to sanitize a whole drive?

You can find out information about the Secure File Eraser in the help file within VIPRE. 

In VIPRE go to the Account tab> click on VIPRE Help.

In the help file go to Tools > Erasing Files Permanently. 


Any files that are erased with Secure File Eraser are permanently erased. It will remove everything on the drive including Windows files; however, we removed the option to use it on the whole C: drive to prevent people from accidentally erasing their whole drive.
