This service release includes enhanced support for the newest versions of the Windows 10 operating system. Our cloud-based Advanced Active Protection engine, which uses artificial intelligence along with cloud-based threat intelligence, is improved even more with this release to keep you protected from the latest threats.
Due to changes imposed by Facebook, we have removed the Social Watch feature as it would not continue to provide the value provided in the past.
Our VIPRE Privacy Shield product protects your identity by finding personally identifiable information (PII) in your browser's history, temp files, as well as documents stored on your computer. With the depth of search capabilities to make you aware of stored PII data that VIPRE Privacy Shield can provide to you, we have made the tough decision to remove the history cleaner capabilities from VIPRE Advanced Security. If you install VIPRE Privacy Shield, you can now selectively review and delete stored browser data, as well as put personal documents into an encrypted vault on your machine.
In addition to these changes, we have fixed various bugs with this release.
Important: VIPRE Advanced Security for Home uses advanced technologies for today’s newer operating systems and does not install on Windows XP or Vista.
To run VIPRE Advanced Security for Home features effectively, you need a PC-compatible computer with:
32- or 64-bit versions of either

Other email products that use SMTP/POP3 for sending and receiving messages, including Mozilla Thunderbird, and many others.

Do not upgrade directly from 10.3 to 11.0.5. Instead, upgrade to 220.127.116.11 before upgrading to the beta build.
This happens because VIPRE requires .NET 4.6 to run. On some computers, Windows must be updated before .NET 4.6 can be installed.
To install .NET 4.6 on Windows 8.1 and Windows Server 2012 R2, you must first run Windows Update and patch your PC.

Give it a try John. I've been with the company for over 10 years working in the Support Department and I will tell you that we now receive a fraction of the calls we did in the Sunbelt days. I loved the old VIPRE products as well. Admittedly, there was a time when our products did not meet our expectations, but over the past few years, our product has been tested as one of the top AV products on the market.
Hi John, I'm not sure what issue specifically that you're referring to. There have been several improvements for the Email Protection in general, so there's a good chance whatever you're referring to has been fixed.
I haven't seen any recent reports of any issues similar to that so I'd assume that issue has been fixed. Please let us know if you do happen to run into any trouble with it.
The exceptions or blacklisted emails would need to be entered one at a time.
John, I've added a feature request for it so it can be considered for future releases. We wouldn't normally add a new feature during the beta process of a release though.
First update for a loong time.
Successfully updated to Version 18.104.22.168 on Windows 7 Home 64bit PC. No problems, no reboot.
Will do other laptops later.
I have noticed lately that the Virus files have not always been updating automatically. Every now and then I get the notice that they are out of date.
Sometimes they will update when prompted, but other times I have to rename the Definitions folder and then update.
Also there have been a couple of time where Vipre does not start at PC bootup. This has occurred on my father's laptop as well.
Are there any bonuses for beta testers coming up soon?
I believe this update includes a fix for a situation where definitions could fail to update as you mention. If you see any further trouble with definition updates with this release, please let me know.
If VIPRE is not starting up for some reason, we'd have to look into that on the system. It's definitely not a common issue. Is this something that happens often on your system?
I'm not sure on whether or not there will be any bonuses.
The instances of Vipre not starting are very rare.
