A VIPRE Business Agent is blocking a file being run on a network share even though network drives are not scanned.

Add the Executable as a "File Exclusion" to the Policy the Agent is assigned:

  1. Open the VIPRE Business Console
  2. Right Click the Policy which the troubled agent is assigned to and select "Properties"
  3. Expand "Exceptions" and then "Exclusions"
  4. Select "Add..." and "File"
  5. Enter the exact name of the file to be excluded, including it's extension
  6. Select Apply and Okay


When network files are loaded, only the filename is scanned by Active Protection. Adding the network drive or folder path will prevent it from being properly excluded
