Push installs to Laptop Systems stick on 'Installing Microinstaller' when using Power Save Mode

Power Save Mode won't allow the VIPRE Agent to communicate while on Battery power.

Either plug the system into AC-Power or disable this feature:
  1. Open the VIPRE Business Console
  2. Right Click the Policy in question and select "Properties"
  3. Navigate to the Power tab on the left
  4. Uncheck "Power save mode (laptops only)"
  5. Select "Apply" and then "OK"
  6. On the target system, uninstall "VIPRE Microinstaller" if present

With the option disabled (or the system plugged into AC Power), push the installation once more and it should install correctly.


When a laptop is running on battery power and power save mode is enabled, agent communication is disabled. This is necessary to complete installation.
