Email not being sent or received with SSL and Other Email Clients option enabled in VIPRE Email Protection

Unfortunately, the VIPRE Business Agent does not support the scanning of emails utilizing SSL Encryption.

A possible workaround would be to use the VIPRE plugin in a supported client that supports SSL, like Outlook.

Alternatively, contact the service provider, or review the website documentation and see if it's possible to use SMTP and POP3, and not SSL or any other encrypted email protocol.


When the 'I use another email program' option is in use in VIPRE email protection, encrypted communications cannot be scanned.
