Email is slow when RBL is enabled

Verify the spelling and accuracy of the server entries. By default, the two server entries included by default are:


The misspelling of these (or any other server entries in this section) could introduce a lag in delivery of messages up to two seconds in length. While this would not be a problem at low-volume sites, it could potentially introduce noticeable latency at sites with higher mail volume.

Additionally, you may also need to clear all files from the "temp" folder located in the VIPRE Email Security for Exchange installation directory in order to get mail flowing normally again. The default path is commonly C:\Program Files\VIPRE Email Security\Temp (or C:\Program Files (x86)\IPRE Email Security\Temp). You may safely delete any files older than ten minutes however, be sure not to delete any subdirectories contained within.
