Error 1706 is repeatedly received and is usually accompanied by looping attempts by VIPRE to reinstall itself.

This indicates that the SBAMSvc.exe may have been compromised and is no longer available. This is a possible sign of a virus infection and attempts should be made to run virus scans on the machine.
