Gathering and compressing the Log Files:

  1. Create a Folder on the Desktop named the Ticket Number.
  2. Go to: Menu > Go > Computer and Expand the Hard Disk
  3. Navigate to the following directories:
    • /Library/Logs/ThreatTrack Security/Vipre
    • /Library/Application Support/ThreatTrack Security/Vipre
  4. Copy the VIPRE folder from the log directory, and the Policyfile.plist, and VIPRESetting.plist files from the application support directory to the folder you created. 
  5. Compress the folder.
