The instructions below outline temporarily disabling VIPRE Email Security for troubleshooting purposes.
Disabling VIPRE Email Security's Agents / Sinks:
- Open VIPRE Email Security Management Console
- Go to: Settings > Agents / Sinks
- Select 'Unregister / Unbind' (This will temporarily interrupt mailflow)
Once the Agents / Sinks are disabled, VIPRE Email Security's services can be safely stopped:
- VIPRE Email Security Cloudmark Engine Service
- VIPRE Email Security Monitoring Service
- VIPRE Email Security Plugin Manager Service
- VIPRE Email Security Remoting Service
- VIPRE Email Security Updates Service
- SpamCure
Once these steps are accomplished, VIPRE Email Security should be removed from Mailflow.
