A VIPRE Business Console's Agent Software can be purged and refreshed in the event they're corrupt.

Purging the VIPRE Business Console's agent software

  1. Close the Console and stop the VIPRE Business Site Service
  2. Navigate to the VIPRE Business Console's Volatile Data Directory:
  3. Purge the contents of the SoftwareUpdate folder
  4. Start the VIPRE Business Site Service and open the Console
  5. Open "Site Properties", followed by "Updates"
  6. Verify the agent software is present or the agent software status is Work in Progress
  7. Note: If neither of the above is true, click on the Agent button under Updates Override
  8. The download is completed when the status changes to Healthy
  9. Note: If status reports Error or Warning, please check Console Update Requirements.
