The following guide will show you how to fix the history cleaner if it is crashing after upgrading to Windows 10.

  • Right Click on the Start Menu and select Run.
  • Type into the run command window, inetcpl.cpl.
  • This will open Internet Properties.
  • Click on Advanced.
  • Select Reset
  • Select Reset again, you may elect to click Delete Personal Settings to completely reset Internet Explorer.
  • The system will reflect the components it is resetting.
  • Click close.
  • The History Cleaner will no longer crash.
