Does VIPRE’s Advanced Active Protection work in conjunction with Microsoft’s Device Guard feature on Windows 10 computers?

Note: This issue only applies if you are using a combination of the following:

  • VIPRE Advanced Security
  • Windows 10 Enterprise Edition

Due to some of the constraints that Windows 10 Device Guard puts on running processes, Advanced Active Protection cannot provide its detailed and comprehensive monitoring of potentially malicious processes on computers with Device Guard enabled. However, Device Guard itself does provide some protection against malicious code execution.

Depending on your environment and the types of services you intend to use on your computer, you should consider which of these two options provides the greater level of protection and enable only that solution.
